Meet a kitchen assistant… Alice
Alice was recently given a The Way We Care Champion Award in recognition of how well she puts our approach to care into practice
The care and support that we provide is focused on people and putting their needs first. Our teams include people who provide care directly, people who keep our homes clean, people who provide appetising and nutritious food, people who maintain our buildings, people who lead and manage these teams. We are all motivated by the same passion: to make everyone who makes their home with us feel loved, supported, fulfilled and cared-for.
We are accredited as an “Investor in People” and make sure that we provide colleagues with many opportunities for learning and development, both informally on the job and formally through training sessions and courses.

@pilgrimsfriendsociety Susan is a Hummingbird, supporting people with dementia in our care homes. In this special role, she makes short connections with our family members - holding a hand, sharing a few words and a smile - so everyone knows that they matter. #dementiauk #dementiatiktok #carersoftiktok #dementiaawareness #carersoftiktok #dignityincare ♬ Beautiful Memories - Lux-Inspira
