Remembrance Day - stories in the media
It was our immense privilege earlier this month to share the wartime memories of some of those living with us with the media for Remembrance Day
As a record of these appearances, we thought we'd draw all these links together in one place. At Bethany Christian Home, Pat, Barbara and Beryl spoke to ITV West about the experiences of living through the Plymouth Blitz. You can watch the clip and read more about their experiences here.
The ladies' stories were also shared in the following local newspapers:
the Plymouth Chronicle
the Plymouth Herald
Derek, 98, who lives at Finborough Court in Great Finborough near Stowmarket shared his experiences of serving in the Royal Artillery in a searchlight unit with BBC Look East. You can read his story on the BBC Suffolk website here.
