Roof going up and windows being installed

The construction of Middlefield House continues to be on schedule, although as more of the project involves working indoors, social distancing requirements may have a greater effect on progress.

Work currently underway includes putting up the roof trusses and installing the windows. The blockwork is almost finished, apart from the top of the lift shafts and a small amount of stonework that is held up by a lack of material. First stage work on the mechanical and electrical installation has begun and this is planned to continue through September, with work on the underfloor heating starting at the end of the month.
