Royd Court wins Regional Housing Award

Celebrating housing for later life

Each year the Elderly Accommodation Counsel (EAC) celebrates successful examples of later life housing. The main award ceremony is greatly enjoyed by over 300 guests, including the residents of the winning schemes.

This year a record 18,990 residents, staff and visitors took part. The winners of the regional awards were announced on 11 March 2019, with our own Royd Court winning the award for the Yorkshire & Humber region.

For the first time in its history the EAC were not only celebrating the best retirement housing schemes in the country, but also the best in every region of the UK! We are delighted that Royd Court shines a light in Yorkshire and Humber, and we know that our staff there, as with all our homes and retirement schemes have a genuine love and care for those who live with them. Well done to Royd Court!
